A Saudi 5 Star Restaurant
This restaurant was called by citizens of the Third World, "The Hole
In The Wall" because it really was one. The ambience was an ancient crumbling ruin.
Lawerence of Arabia once had his Hq. not far from where we are sitting, and it too was a crumbling ruin.
But to eat in this reataurant and not have permanent gastro-intestinal damage for life was a right of passage
to eat in all other Saudi eateries. Right behind my chair was a sink where people bathed before dining.
To my left is my wife, Eleanor, and to her left is Doug L. Hoffman. Doug and I have seen a lot of the world together
and have accomplished projects most people would find fascinating. The other woman is good friend, Rita.
